Both Charlotte Callesen and Neil Hornett competed in the individual time trial held on a challenging circuit. The weather was again not kind to the 83 competitors with light rain and cold northerly winds. The rain was making the numerous turns on the course difficult. The decision to use deep section rims as opposed to full aero equipment used by most the faster riders seemed to help. Neil Hornett finished 4th AGAIN!!!! (that’s the fourth time this season!) but was disappointed not to finish higher, as he failed to maintain his lead at the half way point of the course. He finished in a time of 52.49 (41.5 kph), 1 min behind the winner.

Charlotte Callesen finished in a time of 59.00 (36.9kph) and was the fastest lady out of 9 competitors.
